WiseTech Global Founder Richard White presents second round of 2019 Consensus Awards
Sydney, 12 December 2019 — The second round of the 2019 Consensus Awards was presented in Sydney, with WiseTech Global Founder and CEO Richard White joining Consensus Founder and CEO Julian Day to recognise Australian-developed technology.
White's role in presenting the Awards carried particular significance. Fifteen years earlier, WiseTech Global had itself been recognised by Consensus, winning a Consensus Software Award in 2004 before going on to become one of Australia's most successful global technology companies.
The December presentations continued Consensus' independent recognition of Australian technology, with recipients evaluated by an industry judging panel for innovation, performance and commercial potential.
Empire Software Pty Ltd received a Consensus Software Award for CompleteEmpire, a cloud-based platform bringing together customer relationship management, marketing, sales and operational management for businesses operating across multiple divisions.
The judges recognised CompleteEmpire for successfully integrating functions that are often fragmented across multiple systems, providing organisations with greater visibility across customer, supplier and operational activity.
Lorgan Pty Ltd received Highly Commended recognition for Enigma, its artificial intelligence-powered platform and Behavioural Lake.
The judging panel recognised Enigma's approach to analytics, machine learning and large-scale data processing, as well as its potential applications across areas ranging from predictive maintenance to operational improvement.
The second-round presentations were co-presented by Richard White, Founder and CEO of WiseTech Global, and Julian Day, Founder and CEO of Consensus, with Phil Redding serving as MC.
Universal Business School Sydney again supported the Consensus Awards process by hosting the final judging, with an independent panel of judges participating in the evaluation.
The December presentations concluded the 2019 Consensus Software Awards program and brought another year of independent recognition for Australian-developed technology to a close.
