Consensus Celebrates Australia's Next Generation of Software Innovators

Australia's brightest software innovators were recognised tonight at the 2005 Consensus Software Awards, celebrating organisations developing world-class technology with the potential to transform industries both locally and internationally.
Held at the Sheraton on the Park Hotel in Sydney, the annual Awards brought together leaders from business, government and the technology sector to recognise Australian software companies demonstrating outstanding innovation, technical excellence and commercial potential.
The 2005 Consensus Software Awards were proudly supported by Microsoft, whose continued commitment to the Australian software industry has helped strengthen one of the nation's longest-running independent technology awards programs.
Consensus Founder Julian Day said this year's finalists reflected the growing maturity of Australia's software sector and the increasing capability of Australian companies to compete on the global stage.
