Before founding Xero, Rod Drury won a Consensus Software Award in 2005 for his company AfterMail and its innovative Email Archiving Software. Following the sale of AfterMail to Quest Software, Drury went on to establish Xero—one of the world's most successful cloud accounting companies and a business that transformed the accounting profession worldwide.

Recognised by the Consensus Software Awards in 2005, Financial Network Services (FNS) developed BANCS, an Australian banking platform that had already been adopted by 115 banks across 35 countries before being acquired by Tata Consultancy Services.
